June 2026:  NEC Software Solutions (NECSWS) has today announced the completion of its acquisition of the Childview and Impulse software products from CACI Limited, strengthening its portfolio of justice and rehabilitation services used by Ministry of Justice, Prisons and Probation services.

Collectively known as the ‘Children and Young Persons Division’ (CYP) they will form part of NECSWS’ Digital Studio business unit that provides user-centred case management, service design and innovative software across Justice, Healthcare and Government sectors.

Childview’s software provides solutions that support Youth Justice programmes through a tried and tested specialist integrated case management system designed to drive better journeys and improved outcomes.

Impulse’s software supports children’s services across schools and local authorities, with a full case management system helping to join the dots and improve results in education services.

Marco Fiorentino, executive director for NEC Digital Studio, said: “The Justice sector is under constant pressure to evolve its service to suit the ever-changing pressures of budget, risk and resources whilst seeking to help keep potential offenders out of the system and rehabilitate those already in it.

We are very excited to be able to bring both the Childview and Impulse software and solutions into our portfolio, delivering exciting new propositions to our customers in the UK and overseas, as we seek to enable change through safety, security and rehabilitation solutions that will help our customers shape positive futures.   We’re delighted to welcome the team into our business”.
