NEC Health announced as partners of the HSJ Summit 2026
NEC Software Solutions are proud partners of the HSJ Summit and will host an interactive discussion group at the event, taking place on 15-16 October at the Park Regis, Birmingham.
This years’ HSJ summit centres on the key theme of delivering the NHS 10-year plan: from ambition to system-wide delivery. It will bring leaders from across the NHS, local government, primary care, community services and the voluntary sector together, to facilitate conversations shaping the next phase of healthcare transformation for the NHS and discuss how to turn the 10-year plan’s ambitions into reality.
Over the course of two days the event will enable extensive knowledge-sharing and Chatham House discussions, with day one centred around a new model for the NHS and day two, the shift to neighbourhood health.
As healthcare systems continue to evolve, integrated and patient-centred care has never been more important. One of the key enablers of this transformation is the implementation of Single Point of Access (SPoA) models, which help simplify patient journeys by providing a coordinated route into health and care services.

Meena Sebastian and Danny Weston from the NEC Health team will join the conversation by leading interactive discussion groups exploring how Integrated Care Systems are implementing SPoA today, the challenges emerging across primary and secondary care, and what it will take to deliver consistent, scalable models that genuinely improve patient outcomes and systems efficiency.

Effective SPoA services can help reduce complexity, improve access to appropriate care, and ensure that patients are directed to the right service at the right time. However, successful implementation requires collaboration across organisations, streamlined referral pathways, and the ability to balance local needs with wider system objectives.
